President Kocharyan received Friday a delegation headed by the EU Special Envoy for South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie and discussed Armenia’s prospects of joining the European Union.

This would give an impetus to the process of reforms implementation in Armenia and make them up to European standards, said Kocharyan.

Heikki Talvitie stressed importance of regional cooperation development and conflicts settlement.

They also exchanged views on Karabakh conflict settlement, constitutional reforms and other issues.
