How do you comment on the statement of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev, saying “if Turkey opens the frontier with Armenia, Karabakhi conflict will never be settled” and the fact that Ilham Aliev calls Turkey as an “important key factor”?
Just the contrary, we are sure that opening of the Armenian-Turkish frontier will not only stimulate progress of the regional collaboration but will also influence favorably on Karabakhi conflict regulation. It is as well the stance of the international public, which has been voiced for many times.
Turkey can really be a significant factor for both economic and political progress in our region if it renounces the one-side approaches to Armenia-Azerbaijan relations in favor of Azerbaijan.
