PERIOD OF VALIDITY OF THE ACCORD PROLONGED
Support A1+!Protocol on prolonging the period of validity of 1997’ August 29 accord on “Regulation of Volunteer Resettlement Process between Armenian and Russian Governments” was signed in Government.
Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenian Minister of Territorial Management and Coordinating Activity of Infrastructures and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Anatoli Dryukov signed it.
Paper period of validity was extended by 5 years.
Ambassador Dryukov stated that during 5 previous years volunteer resettlement process proved its vital capacity and urgency.
Gagik Eganyan, head of Governmental Department for Migration and Refugees, said on the instructions of Armenian PM a delegation will leave for Russia next week to cause our compatriots there to be informed about the favorable conditions set for them by the accord.
