UNITED STATES HELPS ARMENIA IN TACKLING HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Support A1+!Yerevan’s office of International Organisation for Migration received 170 – million grant from the U.S. government for implementation of the two projects focused on human trafficking crackdown.
The researches conducted by the organisation showed that the problem of human smuggling is still not taken seriously in Armenia. Survey held by the organisation shows the Armenian women take too credulously obscurely-worded proposals of employment in such countries as Russia, United Arab Emirates, Greece and Turkey.
