”EU wish to see Metsamor Nuclear Power Station closed is still on the agenda”, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanyan announced. By the Minister’s words, though no concrete term was fixed at the 5th sitting but EU wants to see it ceased as soon as possible.

”Closing it as soon as possible depends on how soon we will be able to find sources of alternative energy to substitute NPS”, Oskanyan stated, adding he continued collaborating with EU, irrespective of what term would be set to settle the issue.
