VARTAN OSKANYAN RECEIVED AUSTRALIA AMBASSADOR

On July 11 Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Vartan Oskanyan hosted Lesley Adrian Row, the new Ambassador of Australia to Armenia /residence in Moscow/. Mr Row handed Oskanyan the copy of his credentials.

At the meeting both parties stated that relations between two countries develop positively. Collaboration in various international organisations, including UNO, passes well. Regional issues and relations of Armenia with the neighbours were discussed during the meeting.

At the Ambassador’s request, Minister Oskanyan introduced the present state of Karabakhi conflict settlement and the expectations from the Armenian-Turkish dialogue.

Iraqi conflict and the situation over Iran were talked about, too.
