INDIAN AMBASSADOR IN PARLIAMENT
Support A1+!On July 9 Armenian Parliament Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan received Indian Ambassador Deepak Vohra.
At the meeting both parties stressed importance of intensification of friendly relations between two countries, development of trade and economic relations like the political ones, making them practical.
Underlining development of inter-parliamentary relations, Mr Baghdasaryan said that a group of Armenian-Indian parliamentary friendship will be set up in the new Parliament, and establishment of an alike group in India’ Parliament is expected.
Trade and economic collaboration in the spheres of information technologies, diamond procession, agriculture, experience exchange in state management structures, were considered necessary .
Describing the geographical location of Armenia as significant, Mr Vohra stated that Armenia will have an important role in processes for reconstruction of Silk Road, which is especially emphasised in India. The Ambassador also expressed willingness to support progress of inter-parliamentary relations.
