INTER-PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATIONS OF PARLIAMENT FORMED
Support A1+!At the first deliberation held by Parliament Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan on June 18 the principles and issues of forming the delegations of the Parliament in inter-parliamentary organisations /Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe, Parliamentary Assembly of Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Inter-parliamentary Assembly of country-members of Commonwealth of Independent States, Inter-parliamentary Union, Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Co-operation, Committee on European Union-Armenia Parliamentary Co-operation, NATO Parliamentary Assembly/ were discussed.
Under the Armenian Law on “Parliamentary Regulations”, Parliament Speaker has the right to establish delegations. For the first time members of all the parties and groups, separate MPs, are inscribed in the official delegations, formed as a result of conciliation of all the political powers in Parliament, under the corresponded quotas to number of groups.
At the meeting Parliament Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan stressed importance of collaboration of all the political powers. Significance of efficient activity of the Armenian parliamentarians in the international organisations, role of Parliament both in the country and abroad were also underlined.
Those present confirmed their willingness for working together.
