PRESIDENT HOSTED CHARLES AZNAVOUR
Support A1+!Today president Robert Kocharyan received world famous songster and public figure Charles Aznavour. The singer arrived in Armenia with his son and impresario.
Under May 20 decree of the president of Armenia, the philanthropist from Diaspora and Aznavour’s impresario Levon Sayan was decorated with Movses Khorenatsi medal. At the beginning of the meeting Robert Kocharyan handed Sayan the high state reward wishing him further success.
President and Aznavour talked about 3-day visit to Armenia, the future plans of the songster. According to Kocharyan, Aznavour’s services through his art and activity are invaluable to represent Armenia to the world in due course.
”Each Armenian is proud of having such a compatriot, and thanks to You as well attitude and atmosphere towards Armenia are formed abroad” , president stated during the meeting.
The implementation process for programs, executed by “Aznavour to Armenia” Fund, was referred to at the meeting.
