RAINER FAIST IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!On April 29 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vartan Oskanian received the delegation, headed by Admiral Rainer Faist, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of NATO’ Allied Forces to Europe.
The present level of Armenia-NATO relations, the process for collaboration within “Partnership for Peace” and the potentialities to extend it, issues regarding the region and relations with EU, were discussed at the meeting.
Both sides stressed the importance of execution of “Collaboration Best Attempts 2003” NATO exercises in Armenia, which can positively be reflected on the international rating of the country and facilitate consolidation of security and defence capability of Armenia.
