OBSERVERS WILL AGAIN ARRIVE
Support A1+!The delegation of 5 members of PACE, will visit Armenia from April 23-25 to assess the process of getting ready for the parliamentary elections on May 25.
Meetings with president Robert Kocharyan, Parliament Speaker Armen Khachatryan, CC Chairman Gagik Harutyunyan, CEC Chairman Artak Sahradyan, the representatives of main political parties, Mass Media and social organisations, are planned.
The decision over the pre-election mission, was made after the presidential elections in February-March, 2003. During them “serious breaches were registered which fell short of the international standards”, as PACE and OSCE/ODIHR observers said.
