NEW PROGRAM OF THE ICRC IN NAGORNO KARABAKH
Support A1+!The Stepanakert Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross has launched the realization of the program “Safe Playgrounds for Children”.
According to the head of this office, Charlotte Hartford, construction of safe playgrounds, distant from mine-danger areas, in the villages of Nagorno Karabakh is envisaged.
The program, elaborated in cooperation with the NKR authorities and population, covers 30 villages in the Martuni, Askeran, Hadrut, Martakert and Shushi regions of the Republic.
By early June, the first playgrounds will be built, and the whole program is to be accomplished by the end of the current year.
