THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUMGAYIT SLAUGHTER WAS CELEBRATED

The memory day of victims of massacre of the Armenians perpetrated 15 years ago in Azeri Sumgayit City was celebrated today in Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Hundreds of Stepanakert citizens who are representatives of working groups, educational institutions and social organisations, visited the memory complex in Stepanakert. A memorial for victims of 1988’ slaughter was set up there.

At 11: 00 AM NKR president Arkadi Ghukassyan, Parliament Chair Oleg Esayan, PM Anushavan Danielyan, members of Government and Parliament, representatives of high commander’s staff of Defence Army visited the memorial and laid wreaths and flowers on it.
