MEMBERS OF CIS OBSERVERS’ MISSION IN PARLIAMENT
Support A1+!On February 17 Speaker of Armenian Parliament Armen Khachatryan received the members of CIS Observers’ Mission, headed by Konstantin Markelov, Co-Chairman of CIS Committee of Federation Council.
Telling about CIS Observers’ Mission, Markelov stated clear appraisal criteria were worked out excluding possibility of tyranny .
Armen Kkachatryan named election campaign as democracy display when 9 candidates were registered and given a chance to express their standpoints freely.
He said elections on February 19 will be free, just and transparent, without any election irregularities, stating Authorities are the first to be interested in it .
Issues regarding the coming parliamentary elections were discussed at the meeting. Members of CIS Observers’ Mission will be present for it, too.
