NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER RECEIVED IRANIAN OBSERVERS
Support A1+!Armenian Parliament Speaker Armen Khachatryan received Saturday Iranian observation mission’s representatives who are set to observe presidential elections.
Welcoming the guests, Khachatryan stressed the importance of relationship between two countries and significance of Iran-Armenia road in the years of blockade.
For their part, the observers said they’d like to make the mission more comprehensive, however, that is impossible because their country are now preparing for local government elections.
The Iranian observers are mostly the embassy employees. They are to watch voting process in some Armenian provinces on February 19.
