DAVID PELEG’S FIRST VISIT TO ARMENIA
Support A1+!Armenian National Assembly Speaker Armen Khachatryan received Thursday Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Rivka Cohen and Israeli Deputy Director General of the Division for Central Europe and Eurasia David Peleg. David Hovhannissyan, the head of Armenia-Israel parliamentary group, was present at the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, Armen Khachatryan attached a great importance to farther development of the two countries’ parliaments. David Peleg, in turn, said political and economic relations between the two countries have prospects, especially in diamond industry as well as in public health, agriculture and tourism areas.
It is worth to be noted that Peleg’s visit coincided with the “Horizons ” exhibition, organised by Israeli Embassy and “Shalom” Club’s Armenian branch opening.
