PRESIDENT VISITED MILITARY UNITS
Support A1+!The other day Robert Kocharyan, Armenian president as well as Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces together with Defence Minister Serj Sargsyan visited the military units, including those located on the truce line.
The aim of visit was to become more aware of the battle and tactical training of the military units, execution of the exercise program, social conditions of servicemen.
Officers staff and the soldiers informed the Supreme Commander-in-Chief about the situation in the military units and improvement of social conditions.
A few dozens of soldiers and officers, who have distinguished themselves in the military service, were honoured and awarded with valuable presents by Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces.
On his way to one of military units, president Kocharyan has come to a stop in the villages, near boundary for many times and talked to the villagers.
Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Republic, expressing satisfaction over the situation in the military units on the whole, stated one must never rest content with what has been achieved and secret of high fighting trim of an Army is in permanent progressing and improvement of it.
