ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MEETS RUSSIAN PREMIER

Armenian President Robert Kocharyan received Russian Federation Prime Minister Mikhail Kassyanov today. Both Kocharyan and Kassyanov said they considered property-for-debt agreement signed between the two countries as very important event. In Russian premier’s words it was a mutually beneficial transaction. Armenian president, for his part, said he attaches a great importance to Russian investments in the republic economy.

The parts also discussed Armenian-Russian further cooperation in the energy industry and transport communication areas.
