ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER RECEIVES RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR
Support A1+!Armenian National Assembly Speaker Armen Khachatryan received Russian Federation Ambassador to Armenia Anatoli Dryukov Tueasday. Russian ambassador handed State Duma Speaker Gennadi Seleznev’s and RF Council Chair Sergey Mironov’s official messages to Armen Khachatryan. Russia has no intention to infringe Georgia’s integrity and put at danger the country independence and its key objective is to rid Pankisi Gorge of terrorists, contributing to world-wide struggle against terrorism, the messages say. It was stated in the letters, that the issues are to be discussed at the meeting of Georgian and Russian presidents and also at the upcoming meeting Caucasus Four – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia - in Tbilisi.
A hope is expressed in the messages that a positive solution to the problems will be found.
