THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ANGLICAN CHURCH LEAVES ARMENIA
Support A1+!The farewell party on departure of Phillip Stour Venter, the representative of Kentreberry Archbishopric of the Anglican Church in Armenian Apostolic Church took place in Saint Echmiadzin Church headed by Garegin the Second, the Catholicos of All Armenians.
During a 6 year-long legation in Armenia Father Phillip arranged mutual visits of clergymen serving in the armies of 2 countries, education of Saint Echmiadzin’s monks in the Theological Universities of England as well as this year’ official visit of Garegin the Second to England .
For the services rendered, Father Phillip was decorated with the “Saint Nerses Shnorhali”order of Armenian Apostolic Church.
