OSKANYAN MET SECRETARY GENERAL OF EUROPEAN COUNCIL

On July the 9-th Vardan Oskanyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs met Valter Shvimer, the Secretary General of European Council. Mr. Shvimer is on a work visit to Yerevan . The aim of Shvimer's visit is to view the problems and process of Armenia's joining EC .

During the meeting the execution process of the obligations assumed by Armenia, issues on abolition of capital punishment and carrying-out of constitutional reforms, the regulation process of Karabagh conflict were discussed.
