Dear fellow-countrymen

I congratulate you whole-heartedly on Victory and Peace Holiday occasion. The triumphal finish of Great Patriotic War set a new era for our people - the era of peaceful creative work, country' improvement and historical renascence. Thousands of Armenian young men in Soviet Army and partisan detachments as well as many Armenians from Diaspora in the Armed Forces of other countries and opposition movements gave their lives for the expected victory thus setting examples of self-sacrifise and patriotism.

Trough Shushi liberation in 1992 may the 9-th became more symbolic - it became the glorious page of our modern history and the Armenian people's proof of resoluteness to protect our national and human rights.

I congratulate everybody and especially our veterans on this great holiday. I wish them good health, festive mood and peaceful sky.
