SDHK EXPRESSES SUPPORT
Support A1+!The Social Democratic Henchakyan Party (SDHK) has issued a statement which runs in part:
“It is a few days the miners of Agarak and Kapan have been staging protest actions in defence of their rights. They demand that the administration stop the unlawfulness aimed at reducing their wages and sending hundreds of employees to a forced leave and pension. Parallely, harsh measures are taken against taxi-drivers.
Regarding taxi-drivers as the “only entities acting in shadow economy” the competent authorities have decided to save the humanity from “unscrupulous taxpayers” and seize their last coins earned by honest sweat. It is due to remind that the acting regime vowed to open new work places but their pledge turned to be a pre-election bluff. Serzh Sargyan had promised taxi-drivers to tackle the issue personally but he seems to have forgotten his promise after assuming President’s post.
The SDHK thinks that the above-mentioned problems have been caused by administration’s policy as well as by the puppet government of trade-unions, better to say, their absence.
The Party voices support to champion the rights of Armenia’s workpeople.
