BOJOLYAN PERSECUTED FOR A CRIME HE HAS NOT COMMITTED
Support A1+!Today the Committee for Political Prisoners made a statement that says:
Murad Bojolyan, who was arrested by the special services of Armenia in 2002 and sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment for espionage was only an expert on Turkish studies and had agreed to make a review on the Armenian press for the Turkish Mass Media. The Committee states that the Armenian government accused him under such a discrediting article as espionage, realizing that the review of the press is not a state secret.
He has been in prison for already 7 years and has the right to be released conditionally. Soon the special commission will discuss the early release of Murad Bojolyan.
The Committee for Political Prisoners finds that Bojolian was prosecuted for a crime which he did not commit. So, it condemns his arrest and demands to honor his right for early conditional release.
