Petros Makeyan, detainee in “Artik” Penitentiary, went on a hunger-strike on May 21. Soon after his application Makeyan was moved into a special cell meant for hunger-strikers.

According to Arsen Babayan, Press Secretary of the RA Justice Ministry Penitentiary Department, Petros Makeyan is under medical supervision and doctors assess his health state as satisfactory.
