RESTRAINT REVIEWED
Support A1+!The restraint of Suren Sueniants, member of the Political Board of the “Hanrapetutiun” (Republic) Party, was reviewed.
“Taking into consideration Sureniants' poor health deteriorating day by day and the Prosecutor General's instruction, the investigative body has changed the restraint,” press secretary of the RA Procurator's Office Sona Truzian told A1+.
Sureniants was released after giving a written undertaking not to leave the city.
Reminder: a petition of changing the restraint has been filed by Armenian MPs Naira Zohrabian (BHK), Armen Ashotian (HHK), Edward Sharmazanov (HHK), Karen Avagian (HHK), freelance deputy Victor Dallakian and Hovhannes Margarian (OYK).
Suren Sureniants was detained after the March 1 events. He is charged with violation of the constitutional order, as well as organization and conduct of mass demonstrations.
