“My and my brother’s persecution has nothing to do with law and, accordingly, it has political reasons”, declared Gagik Jhangirian.

“As RA Attorney General and a true Armenian I could not but participate in public movements. So, enjoying my right of freedom of speech I publicly expressed my opinion on current developments. I have never withdrawn from my views and estimations and I will not, especially now when my country’s fate and future are on stake.”

I call to all my people and to the detainees for being tolerant and persistent. I express my support for all the detainees. As a lawyer I am going to struggle in a juridical way. Though we are all in political persecution we should struggle by law.

Integrity and democracy will inevitably win.
