TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION CENTER CONDEMNS

Politics

We accuse the Armenian authorities of another falsified election, accompanied with gross violations of law and human rights both during the pre-election period, on the election day and the post-election week.

We condemn • mass vote bribes, ballot stuffing, and intimidation of and violence against commission members, proxies and local observers, and influence over voters’ choice against their will,

• continuous misuse of administrative resources, partiality of media and distortion of facts,

• citizens' persecution and arrests for expression of their political standing.

We state that it is the current authorities who hold responsible for acts of tyranny taking place in the country, along with international organizations neglecting them.
