AZERBAIJAN AGAIN PLAYS KURDISH CARD
Support A1+!Several citizens of Turkey with Kurdish descent, who represent PKK continue to claim that soldiers and officers of the Armed force of Azerbaijan are involved in the military operations of the Turkish Army in the Northern Iraq. According to our information, Azeri military personal are involved in combat operation in the Turkish military uniform. The silence from the Azerbaijani side enabled PKK members to provide new information in which again it is confirmed that Azerbaijani military are involved in the operations of the Turkish army in the Northern Iraq. According to those sources circa 80-100 Azerbaijani soldiers and officers are currently on the Iraqi territories and contiguous territories and at he moment Azeri forces have loses; one soldiers was killed, two other are wounded and one is missing.
Couple of days ago in several Azerbaijani mass media again information appeared after the short pause about the allegations on the presence of PKK military bases in NKR and liberated territories. Particularly with several statements appeared Speaker of Azerbaijani ministry of Foreign affairs, military analytics and Azeri news agencies referred to Israeli intelligence to confirm this information. In fact new referrences to the Kurdish topic in Azerbaijan indirectly confirm the information on the Azerbaijani military presence in the Northern Iraqi territories.
The reliability of this information provided by the several representatives of the PKK is confirmed by the fact that in the framework of the military cooperation agreement signed between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani military personal are actively involved in the combat operations of the Turkish Armed forces against the PKK militants and also are present on the territory of the Northern Cyprus occupied by Turkish army since 1974.
It should be noted that the presence of PKK combatants on Azerbaijani soil and in the outskirts of Baku several times became a cause for diplomatic scandals and demarches between Turkey and Azerbaijan, after Turkish intelligence and military presented bold evidences on this matter.
