Support A1+!Presidential candidate Serzh Sarkissian visited Shirak Marz on February 15. During the meeting with Landzik voters the candidate said his “programme is hard-nosed.” The Prime Minister pledged allegiance.
“I pledge to fulfill my promises as an official has no right to repudiate them. I assure you that people will live twice better by 2013,” he said.
“The country has a great potential. If we employ at least part of it, we shall have crowning achievements,” Sarkissian said in Azatani Village.
“Тhe authorities used to say they couldn't tackle this or that problem, it was beyond their competence. I pledge to solve all problems regardless of their complication,” the candidate said.
Occasionally, authorities neglected the problems of Gyumri, thus inflicting great losses on the city. I assure you that I shall restore Gyumri's pride and reputation. People will soon seek shelters in Gyumri.”
Serzh Sarkissian finished his speech with an appeal, “Onward to prosperous Armenia we crave for.”
Today's meeting was strangely silent. People were neither curious nor boisterous. “Everybody minds his own business,” an elderly man said.
