The incident happened when Ruben Hairapetyan with a few cars and armed bodyguards was trying to hinder the conduct of the election. The ARF Dashnaktsutyun proponents prevented his further actions at the polls. The members of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun and the Prosperous Armenia parties beat Ruben Hayrapetyan and his bodyguards, who fled,” Yerkir Media reports.
Ruben Hairapetyan, who runs for parliament on the majority ticket at Avan Community, refuted the information. According to him, a Republican Party member was at loggerheads with an ARF Dashnaktsutyun proxy.
