KARAPETYAN TRIES TO SHOW HIS “TEETH” TO RUSSIA

“Armenia must deprive Russia of the possibility to control the work of the nuclear power station, and compensate the losses by the costs of power”, according to the head of the People’s Party and the TV Company ALM Tigran Karapetyan, this will be a deserved counter-blow to Russia for the gas policy.

The head of the Constitutional Right Union Hrant Khachatryan debated with Tigran Karapetyan in the “Mirror” club about the change of the policy of Russia.

When it comes to the policy with Russia, Tigran Karapetyan is for the tough one and claims that Armenia must show his «teeth». For example, Armenia could use the factor of the Russian military forces on the borderline of Armenia and Turkey. Karapetyan is convinced that even in case of the absence of the Russian forces Turkey will not attack Armenia.

Another factor, according to him, is that of the Armenian Diaspora which «can have significant influence on the elections in Russia».

Hrant Khachatryan does not share Tigran Karapetyan's opinion about the relations with Russia. According to him, the gas cost is not worth ousting the Russian forces from Armenia.
