Sudents of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography demand rector's resignation (video)
The students of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography are protesting from early morning. They demand the resignation of Rector Davit Muradyan and demand from the Rector to present a financial report. The students' indignation grew especially after the Police's video about the abuses done by the Vice-rectors of the universities. Rector Davit Muradyan told "A1 +" that he is not going to resign as long as the preliminary investigation is over, as the video also presents abuses done by the former rectors. He will only think about his resignation after the end of the preliminary investigation. The rector adds that a yearly financial statement is presented at the Governing Body meeting, during which students are also present and get familiarized with the report.
