Edmon Marukyan: I consider RPA and Robert Kocharyan as anti-revolutionary force (video)
MP Edmon Marukyan assures that they have nothing to do with the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) since they support Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. "We support Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the government. And rumors about the connections with the RPA are a black PR against us. We were the only force that had a clear stance that we should vote against Serzh Sargsyan's becoming prime minister," says the MP. "Everyone knows how we reject Serzh Sargsyan. Only after that thousands of people joined us. And from that day to now we have been supporting Nikol Pashinyan and the government," Marukyan said. By saying the anti-revolutionary force Edmon Marukyan understands the forces that are in the former regime. "I consider RPA as an anti-revolutionary force, and now Robert Kocharyan has joined. But they do not participate in this election," says the MP. Referring to Pashinyan's speech at the My Step bloc rally, he mentioned that it was a propaganda speech. As to Prime Minister's statement, "those who represent themselves as false revolutionaries," Edmon Marukyan stressed that the prime minister did not mean them.
