On the first day of the official campaign of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun, candidate for mayor Mkayael Manukyan, responding to journalists' questions, said that their pre-election program was very ambitious and was developed by 30 specialists from different fields. According to Manukyan, every mayor of Yerevan has left a "trace," either in good or bad ways. Manukyan also added that ARF is a 128-year-old party, and it is not something new for Yerevan resident.
