During 10 years in the Republic of Armenia, in 2009-2018, 198.091 foreigners were considered undesirable and their entry into Armenia was banned. During the same period, data of 221,688 individuals were dropped from a database of foreigners who were considered undesirable in Armenia. The largest number was recorded in 2018. In the current year, data of 78,789 individuals have been removed from the database of foreigners who are considered undesirable in Armenia. We know about the aforementioned due to Head of the staff of the National Security Service of Armenia M. Khachatryan's report on August 9, 2018, in response to a request by Helsinki Citizens' Assembly (HCA) Vanadzor. It should be noted that the HCA Vanadzor office requested information about the number of people who were involved in the database of foreigners considered undesirable in the territory of Armenia since 2000, as well as the grounds for the conclusion.
