Armenian wrestlers do not suceed at wrestling tournament in Tbilisi
Armenian wrestlers finished their performance at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi. On the second day of the competition, our athletes were unable to win medals. Freestyle wrestlers did not succeed and even did not get the right to participate in the fights. Aslan Poghosyan (67kg) in the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions defeated the South Korean wrestler for the 3rd place. By the way, he lost to the Armenian wrestler Alen Mirzoyan, representing Russia in the semifinals. Champion Maxim Manukyan (87kg) defeated Alan Ostayev from Russia in the quarterfinals (4:10) and lost to Bulgarian Johan Demitrov in the first fight for the third place. Armenia's freestyle wrestling team took the 4th place among 22 participants and the Greco-Roman wrestling team took the 7th place among 14 teams.
