Political scientist urges not to be afraid of accumulation of Azerbaijani forces
Today, at news conference, Levon Shirinyan told that after the velvet revolution, Armenia's strategy has changed in relations with Azerbaijan. Strategies have become preventive. The politician positively assesses the changes and urges not to be afraid of the accumulation of the Azerbaijani forces. "Now the mood of our people is quite different, I'm sure that the officer mood in the army is quite different, the Defense Minister is another person. This allows me to think that we are in a better position in terms of fighting, and we stop retreating." According to him, it is obvious that the velvet revolution is in the interests of Armenia, and it is deadly for Russia because everyone respects Armenia, which causes the envy of its strategic ally. "I think that Russia will learn lessons and partner relations with us. At present, the situation has changed and will not be blackmailed." Levon Shirinyan added that in September we should have a new National Assembly, and the delay in these conditions is unacceptable.
