Drivers close road (video)
More than 200 citizens have blocked the section of Ujan village on Yerevan-Gyumri highway. Truck drivers complain of large-scale administrative fines that have been assigned for car overloads over the permissible weight. Drivers require the cancellation of the registered acts and not limit their activities, ie, not to limit the burden. The protesters met with the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Andrey Simonyan, after which the drivers agreed to open the road. The drivers arranged to meet separately and discuss the issue with them.
