On the occasion of International Women's Day, newly elected President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian congratulated Armenian women, mothers, sisters and daughters wishing them health, success, high mood, optimism, strong and prosperous families. Noting the exceptional role of women in both family and society, he expressed a wish that women play a greater role and participate in all spheres of state and public life of the country.
