Import of furniture, household appliances and cars has increased
In January-October of this year, an increase in imports of furniture, household appliances, equipment and cars was recorded in comparison with the same period of 2016, which is due to the improvement of customs procedures and the increase in purchasing power among the population. So, if 5 tons of furniture were imported to Armenia in the last 10 months of the last year, the volume of imports increased by more than 17 tons now. Significant growth was observed in imports of domestic appliances, particularly air conditioners. The volume of imports of mobile phones and cars has also grown. Compared to January-October of 2016, the imports volume of cars has increased by more than 16 000 this year.
