Advertisement passports for buildings
In August, the Administration of Yerevan has conducted administrative proceedings aimed at regulating the various types of advertisements in the buildings which represent historical and cultural value. Accordingly, advertising passports were compiled, in which it was stated in detail how the ads should look like in order to avoid the distortion of architectural form of those buildings. Currently, 60 historical-cultural buildings’ advertising signboards that do not meet the advertising passports has already been completed, and the majority of these buildings are located on the Tigran Mets Street, from Republic Square to Khanjian Street. It is noteworthy fact to mention that now new business entities will be informed what the advertisement posted on that building should be like, when buying or renting a building.
