The Sixth Garrison Investigative division of the General Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is investigating the circumstances of the death of Armenia armed forces’ serviceman, Private Chaplin Margaryan. The serviceman was wounded in his chest as a result of Azerbaijani fire on Tuesday afternoon when carrying out engineering works at the military unit N of the Defense Ministry of Armenia, and was immediately taken to the military hospital. A criminal case was initiated by the Sixth Garrison Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee. During the preliminary investigation, the body conducting the proceedings informed the military that the biological death of a soldier was registered at 21:00 on the same day.
