Armenia curbs Azerbaijan's aggression through military exercises (video)
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is scheduled to conduct large-scale military exercises in Armenia on October 6. The military drills will be held in Baghramyan and Alagyaz training facilities. Participants of the drills are members of the military alliance. “The military exercises will be conducted according to the schedule and are not conditioned by any geopolitical development, says Vagharshak Harutyunyan, a former Defense Minister of Armenia. He says this is a good opportunity to remind Azerbaijan of the strength of its western neighbour. “Our national army is getting stronger. Armenia is preventing aggression by showing its strength and the combat readiness of its army. Military exercises are conducted to show the strength of a country,” Mr. Harutyunyan said.
