Artsakh soldier killed by Azerbaijani fire
A serviceman of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) army was killed by Azerbaijani fire on Sept. 28. According to a press statement released by Artsakh’s Ministry of Defense, Seyran Sargsyan (born in 1998) was fatally wounded at around 3pm while on duty in a military unit stationed in the southeastern direction of the Line of Contact (LoC) between Artsakh and Azerbaijan. An investigation has been launched into the incident. Artsakh’s Ministry of Defense shares the heavy grief of the loss and extends its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the deceased. ------ President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed a decree to award serviceman of the Artsakh Republic Seyran Sargsyan posthumously with the "For Service in Battle" medal for bravery shown during the defense of the Artsakh Republic state border.
