At the 29th Summer Universiade held in Taipei 131 countries in 21 sports competed for 275 medals. Student athletes of Armenia participated in 7 sports, gaining 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals and taking the 26^th place. With the count of medals the top three countries are: Japan, Korea and Chinese Taipei.
