Floods paralyze transport, cause havoc in Istanbul (video)
Heavy rainfall has caused floods in Istanbul, inundating roads, underpasses and subway lines and causing havoc in the city. Flights have been postponed. Several vehicles were stranded in the floodwaters and passengers were trapped in underpasses. People stranded in their homes due to flooding were helped out in boats. Authorities urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel and warn that precipitation will continue until Wednesday night.
