Levon Aronyan vs Azerbaijani chess players
The next round of the FIDE Grand-Prix 2017 starts in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 6. Armenia’s leading chess player Levon Aronian is among the 18 qualifiers. Aronian, who tops the FIDE ranking leads with 2809 points, is the main favorite of the tournament. He is followed by Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan) and Anish Giri (Netherlands) who have 2800 and 2775 points each. The names of the participants are provided below
