Earthquake Hits Armenia-Turkey Border Zone
On June 29, at 10:42 local time, (at 06:42 by Grinvich) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.450 and eastern longitude 43.650 geographic coordinates (Armenia-Turkey border zone, 15 km east from the village of Aragatsavan), with 3.1 magnitude and 10 km depth. The tremor measured magnitude 4 points at the epicenter area. The earthquake was felt in the village of Aragatsavan, Aragatsotn region of the RA with 3-4 points.
