Jirayr Sefilyan appeals to mass media
Jirayr Sefilyan, the leader of Founding Parliament opposition movement, has issued a statement from the Armavir prison. The hearing in the criminal case filed against me on the basis of trumped–up charges is held with rough violations of publicity and legality. The intention of Serzh Sargsyan and his puppets, who have seized the power, is to silence me and hold the “trial” in absentia. Since I have no opportunity to express my views in court, I appeal to all mass media, particularly Gala TV and RFE/RL's Armenian Service to conduct an interview with me.
